  Although the staff is nice and friendly and price per night is low at 108 per night, I would not recommend this place due to the horrible showers. Basically it will fluctuate in temperature very frequently from extremely hot to very cold in a matter of seconds. You don't have to even bother with the faucet in the shower because it does nothing. I was in room 122 so hopefully this was just an isolated issue for that room but I doubt it is. Your better off paying the extra 30 dollars per night and going to the Athabasca hotel it is far nicer and not a whole lot more expensive. The beds are not the most comfortable either. The climate control in the room was relatively useless as well.

  I had crutches from a snowboarding accident during my stay in Astoria Hotel and coming up and down the stairs in the foyer was terrible lol . They don't have an elevator.

  The restaurant staff are incredibly friendly and provide fantastic service. The food is affordable and tasty. One of the best breakfast options in Jasper especially if you are on a budget but don't want fast food.

  Not what you expect for $200 a room. But it's Jasper space is limited. For instance if you're a big "fluffy" guy don't get a room here. There is more room in a bathroom stall then the washroom in your hotel room. We're talking 5ft long by 5'5ft wide here. Queen size beds are pushed against the wall. So if there is 3 or more 1 of you will be hugging the wall. No microwave, old school small bar fridge max can fit a 24 (cans not bottles) in, don't expect to keep it in the box either. Beds were comfy, TV is HUGE, also could be cause the room is small. Check out time is 11am that was a plus. They don't offer public parking. Hopefully you can find space across the street (it is free). They don't have carpet but vinyl flooring which I really enjoyed. That's about it.
