  The customer service was horrific. I used my debit visa for a deposit and then was not refunded the money. After repeatedly proving that the money came out of my account with email verification and bank statements I wasted hours and repeated trips to the lobby only to be told there was “nothing they could do”. I will never stay here again. I do not believe that their treatment of guests deserves even one star. As a frequent visitor of jasper I respect and love this town and have stayed in various hotels all over it and have never had a worse experience.

  They missed an obvious spot vacuuming in the main room, and there was a bunch of debris/crumbs on the floor. Shrug.

  Nice 3-star hotel at the edge of town, rooms are comfy and clean. Service and amenities are good. I would have given a 5 star if the tap on the sink was not so difficult to use.

  They gave me a free room upgrade, which was nice... but I actually wish they hadn't. I was put in a 1 bdr/kitchenette room which only had a TV in the kitchen/dining area, not in the bedroom. May seem like a minor gripe, but it was weird not being able to be able to watch a little TV in bed before crashing.

  The Tonquin Inn is a bit dated but they still have the standard comforts like hot tub (both indoor and outdoor) and a pool. The 2 hot tubs out side hold about 8 people each comfortably and there are towels right by them. There is a penthouse as well though that really means 70's apartment look and style. It does have a kitchenette and the price is reasonable. I would stay here again.

  We spent a weekend here and it was amazingly comfortable. Room is very warm amd cozy. Bathroom is bright and clean, and the shower gets hot instantly when turned on. Staff are very friendly. We requested two extra pillows and they were delivered to our room right away.

  Overall, place is pretty clean and comfortable. Can't complain for the price.
